ZIBO HUIWEN can customize and produce the plastic shells of projectors. The common plastic materials we handle are:
1. Common plastic materials
- ABS (Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene)
- Properties: High strength, toughness, easy processability, can be treated with gloss or frosted finish on the surface.
- Appropriate applications: For home use or portable projectors, it is the first option when cost and durability are considered.
2. PC (Polycarbonate)
- Characteristics: Great heat resistance (up to 120°C and above), good impact resistance, but with relatively high cost.
- Appropriate applications: High-brightness projectors (such as laser projectors), which have to withstand long-term high temperatures.
3. PC+ABS Alloy
- Feature: Blending the heat resistance of PC and the easy processability of ABS, with excellent overall performance.
- Applicable scenarios: Middle and high-end projectors, taking both heat dissipation and structural strength into consideration.
4. Fire-resistant Materials (e.g., V0-grade ABS/PC)
- Characteristics: Comply with fire safety requirements, prevent overheating and fire.
- Applicable scenarios: Commercial or long-term usage projectors.
It's up to you what materials are used to produce it.
The purchasing tips that ZIBO HUIWEN provides for you are as follows:
- Home projectors: ABS or PC+ABS plastics are recommended since they are preferred for aesthetics and cost-effectiveness.
- Commercial/professional projectors: PC or metal composite materials are recommended in order to offer long-term stability.
If you need to further optimize the shell design of a particular model, please provide more of your needs (e.g., projection power, target price, etc.). Feel free to contact us at any time. We are more than happy to assist you.
